Secondly, whenever Virgil places the hood of the cloak over his head, he does not age naturally. He may still be affected by supernatural ageing. Furthermore, the hood protects him from psychic or mind-based powers such as telepathy or glamour, or powers that involve eye contact. Though the shrouding hood's protection is not as perfect as his father's, it is enough to leave frustrated some practitioners of such force. Powers against eye contact are perfectly resisted, as the hood functions also as a mask. Protection against psychic powers is less reliable, and up to SL Author discretion when necessary.
